BDC Services, today announced a new partnership with 3P, becoming a reseller of PatchSee products in Australia. PatchSee manufactures the world's first RJ45 cable to use fibre optic technology for tracing purposes.

BDC Services Managing Director, Brendan Dunne says PatchSee resolves the inefficiencies faced by IT staff trying to identify cables on complicated patch panels:

Each cable contains two optic fibres that can be lit up at each end for tracing the end points, and it’s possible to display different coloured lights when tracing multiple cables at the one time.”
